1. Who are you?

2. Why did you decide on this Eco-Adventure Costa Rica minimester?
I've never been to Costa Rica and the idea of traveling to a new place excited me!
3. What was your favorite food/meal on the trip?
I loved the beans and rice they gave us! Never had them so much before but they were delicious!
4. What was the most important item you packed?
The most important item I packed was my phone… it has an iPod and most importantly a camera with editing!
5. What was your favorite "Tom" moment?
My favorite "Tom" moment was just before zip lining when all of a sudden, he decided to "strike a pose!" Haha!!
6. What made you laugh the most?
The thing that most made me laugh was when Ms. Borchers slapped Woddy! Haha the face she made in the picture is priceless!
7. What made you think the most?
The thing that made me think the most was the presentation on bats and just how important they are to not only the environment but also to us!
8. What was your favorite adventure activity?
My favorite adventure activity was zip lining!! Although the heights were intimidating, the views were incredible and I will never forget it!
9. What was your favorite eco activity?
My favorite eco activity was going to the organic farm. Being able to see so many new and different things along with trying the sugar cane juice made the trip all the more better!
10. How was your community service project an important part of the trip?
The community service project was important because it allowed for endangered plant species to be replanted and hopefully grow in multitude in the future. And as Woody said, "it gave Country Day kids a chance to actually work" haha!
11. What was your favorite view?
My favorite view was of the waterfall! The walk down was rough and stony, and the water was cold, but the waterfall was amazing and it was worth it!
12. What was your most memorable moment?
My most memorable moment was the first day of rafting and how relaxing lunch and the little waterfall were. In honor of Woddy… "Pura Vida for the Brando's"
13. What surprised you?
I think I was surprised by how much I became interested in nature haha.
14. What changed you?
I think that the trip in general gave me a new perspective on nature and the environment. I found myself interested and eager to discover new animals and the ecosystem around me… although I do have to say I am still not too keen on insects :S
15. What did you learn about another person on the trip?
I learned Alexa wants to hatch baby chickens! I almost died of laughter when we were at the organic farm and I found out she had been carrying an egg around with intentions to keep it warm and hatch! Hahaha!!
16. What did you learn about yourself during this minimester?
I learned I loved waterfalls and although cold, swimming in them was amazing!!
